Our Mission
All of the instructors and staff at TKD Martial Arts Academy are fully committed to bringing you the highest quality martial arts, self defense and fitness training. We recognize the need for confidence, discipline and respect within our community, for both youth and adults, and we stand for the quality of life that such values provide.
As an organization, we are committed to the contribution of martial arts and fitness to all of humanity. Through the programs we provide, we seek to generate a world of health and harmony for everybody everywhere.
Core Values
Integrity - Honesty is a two-way street, not just with those around you but with yourself as well. By focusing on integrity, you will learn to know yourself and use that knowledge to make effective decisions in everything you do. Without being true to your word, you are nothing.
Others Before Self - The respect you show for others goes a long way towards building character. Sharing other's efforts, successes and achievements as well as your own shows compassion and acceptance of your peers. A tolerance of our differences is important in today's society.
Excellence In All We Do - This attitude will be instilled and reinforced in our students, transforming their quality of life wherever they may go. Excellence can be achieved by everyone. There is no such thing as a "half effort" at our Academy; as long as you give your ALL, you will succeed.
Indomitable Spirit - This is the most important value of all, and refers to one's soul (or self). Being indomitable means refusing to allow defeat, and having the strength to stand up for your beliefs no matter what. It also means having the will to protect those weaker than you against physical and mental aggression.
Your Pursuit of Excellence Begins Here
EXCELLENCE - "Excellence is the result of caring more
than others think is wise; risking more than others think
is safe; dreaming more than others think is practical;
and expecting more than others think is possible."
